Araneus gemmoides (P.J. Turner [September 20, 2007])

These babies love my house.  All those listed have been right here, either attached to the house, or in my surrounding foliage.  I've even fortunate enough to see some of the young female spiderlings building

The accompanying photo is my best shot this year.

Thanks David. Sorry to take so long to reply, but I really appreciate your comment.  This girl was just out the window of our back porch.  Just as interesting was watching her meticulously cutting the Monarch out of her web when she was done with it.
