We located one of this spider at the Prairie Wetlands Learning Center in Fergus Falls, MN. We could not identify it with any of our guides so we sent it to a professor at NDSU. He replied it was Araneus gemmoides. He said it may be the southern most site that this spider has been documented! There were no other documentations in Otter Tail County.
