Observed a large concentration of individuals more than 40 females on their webs alongside a rural road ditch. About half of them had prey (mainly grasshopers, some monarch butterflies). Many were visibly gravid. Also observed, on 2 different occasions, 2 males courting a female on her web. Habitat was mainly grasses, Salix sp. and Asclepias. A corn field was on side of the ditch.
