Argiope trifasciata (Michael D. Campbell [August 22, 2007])Location: McCordsville, Buck Creek Township, Hancock County, Indiana Date & Time: August 22, 2007 19:44 hours Habitat: Wildflower garden  Predominant vegetation: obedient plant, goldenrod, aster, coneflowers Details: Three large females with webs spaced in an equilateral triangle less than two meters apart.  Males on small webs adjacent to females' webs.  Females still in immature markings but are quite large and much larger than the males.  Smallest female has two males in attendance.
