Hi,
That specimen looks like E. militaris to me as well. On that note, I relize that there is a forum for discussions and request, but I can't register for some reason. That said, I am a PhD student in Nebraska, USA working ont his speices and was wondering if I could solicit some help from you folks. Would any of you be willing to provide me with locality, number seen and other natural history data that you may have on this species? I would be extremely appreciative of any help anyone can provide. Please feel free to contact me at chipmm13@yahoo.com if you are willing to help.
Thanks,
Matt

Looks like an accurate identification to me! E. militaris males can sometimes be confused with E. flava males, but the latter have a distinctive white line between the eyes and the start of the jaws. Your image clearly shows no such white ridge or line. Pretty good picture too!
